World Wildlife Day Cleanup – Otay Valley Regional Park
March 7 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am


Come celebrate World Wildlife Day with San Diego Coastkeeper at Otay Valley Regional Park from 9-11 am on Saturday, March 7th! This event is open to people of all ages, and park rangers will be on-site to educate and lead volunteers through activities. The event will include a cleanup and milkweed planting.

Meeting Location
An Otay Valley Regional Park trail starts across the street from 4017 Byrd St, right next to Finney Elementary School. Park along the residential street, walk through the park gate, and follow the trail until you see the Coastkeeper canopy.
Cleanup Information
Look for the blue Coastkeeper canopy. We will walk you through some safety information and make sure you are properly equipped to help.
Please wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen.
All volunteers (individuals as well as groups) are welcome to participate. All minors will require a parent or guardian to be present.
Weather Cancellation Policy
If it is lightly raining, we will hold the cleanup. If there is heavy rain, we will cancel the cleanup. To check the cleanup status, please see the San Diego Coastkeeper events calendar or visit us on social media.
