California Coastal Cleanup Day – Otay Valley Regional Park
September 21 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Come celebrate River Day and California Coastal Cleanup Day with San Diego Coastkeeper at Otay Valley Regional Park from 9-11 am on Saturday, September 21st! This event is open to people of all ages, and park rangers will be on-site to educate and lead volunteers through activities. Meeting Location
Meet at the 273 Rancho Dr./I-805 river crossing. Look for the blue San Diego Coastkeeper canopy.
Cleanup Information
Meet at the dirt lot and look for the blue Coastkeeper canopy. We will walk you through some safety information and make sure you are adequately equipped to help.
Please wear comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, and sunscreen.
All volunteers (individuals as well as groups) are welcome to participate. All minors will require a parent or guardian to be present.
Weather Cancellation Policy
If it is lightly raining, we will hold the cleanup. If there is heavy rain, we will cancel the cleanup. To check the cleanup status, please see the San Diego Coastkeeper events calendar or visit us on social media.
