Join our new Mission Bay Water Quality Monitoring Program, where volunteers like you will participate in monthly field days to collect water samples across ten sites in Mission Bay. Program participants are also invited to engage in community events, meetings, and advocacy efforts.
The first volunteer orientation and training will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Join us in this exciting opportunity to be part of a team of passionate individuals interested in protecting and restoring our waters and wilds.
This program provides a stipend to the first ten volunteers that confirm and attend each monthly field day to reduce financial barriers and provide equitable access to this opportunity that would otherwise make it difficult for one to participate.
