Originally founded with just two staff members in 1995 to combat the chronic pollution of San Diego Bay, over the last 25 years, San Diego Coastkeeper has grown in both size and scope. Today, the organization uses a strategic combination of targeted advocacy, locally focused water and climate education, needs-driven community engagement, and cutting edge science to protect and restore waterways across San Diego County. To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are releasing a series of 25 videos featuring Coastkeeper supporters, partners, staff, and community members sharing why clean water is important to them.
