Supervisor Cox, Councilmember Alvarez to visit event in Otay Valley Regional Park
SAN DIEGO, March 22, 2012 – On March 31 from 9 a.m. – noon, San Diego Coastkeeper combines education, outdoor exploration and restoration during its 5th Annual Walk the Watershed at Otay Valley Regional Park. The free event will engage participants with activities to restore the watershed and teach how pollution affects our inland waters and ocean. Event organizers expect about 300 students and community members to participate in the event, which concludes with closing ceremonies, food, entertainment and raffle prizes.
