Kensington–Talmadge Earth Day
April 11 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Free
Join us and celebrate the 5th Annual Kensington–Talmadge Earth Day, a fun, family-friendly day of environmental activities on Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at Kensington–Normal Heights Library Park.
Kick off the festivities at 10:30 a.m. with the library’s Earth Day–themed story time for young children. This year, the focus is on “Protecting Our Oceans and Watershed,” highlighting how safeguarding streams, rivers, and oceans begins right in our own community.
Enjoy hands-on activities, live music, free ice cream, and a chance to win free trees. Learn about animals, gardening, and sustainable practices from local organizations working to protect our water and our planet.
