Ellie Skjersaa joined San Diego Coastkeeper in September 2022 as a USD College Corps fellow. Her work supports Coastkeeper’s in-person outreach and digital communications.
Ellie is a sophomore studying at the University of San Diego and will be with us for the entirety of the 2022-23 school year. She plans to major in Marketing with a minor in Creative Writing. She loves learning French and hopes to study abroad in France soon. She is a founding member of USD’s “Fashion Forward” club, which seeks to advocate for sustainable garment shopping while also involving underprivileged youth from San Diego schools in the creative process. Ellie is passionate about making a difference in the world
In her free time, Ellie enjoys playing the piano, jam sessions, surfing, skiing, and thrift shopping.
