San Diego Coastkeeper hosts this beach and street cleanup at Pacific Beach Drive in Pacific Beach. Meet at the end of Pacific Beach Drive, on the beach. Street parking only.

Driving Directions

From I-5 North: Take exit - # 23- toward CA-274/Balboa Ave/Garnet Ave. Merge onto Mission Bay Drive. Turn slight left on Grand Ave. Turn left on Mission Ave and right on Pacific Beach Drive.  

From I-5 South: Take exit- # 23- toward CA-274/Balboa Ave/Garnet Ave. Merge onto Mission Bay Drive. Turn right onto Garnet Ave. Garnet Ave. becomes Balboa Ave. Balboa Ave becomes Grand Ave. Turn left onto Mission Blvd and right onto Pacific Beach Drive.

BYOB--Bring Your Own Reusable Bag, Bucket, Bottle and Gloves

We will have supplies on hand, but volunteers should bring their own work gloves, reusable bag/bucket and/or reusable water bottle.

Beach Cleanup Information

Please wear comfortable clothes, closed toed shoes and sunscreen. All volunteers are welcome to participate and must sign a liability waiver, but volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the beginning of the cleanup to sign a liability waiver before the minor can participate. Please be prepared to fill out a data card of all the trash you pick up—we need this information to help find the sources of trash on our beaches.
