San Diego Coastkeeper hosts this beach and street cleanup at at the Ocean Beach Jetty in Ocean Beach. Meet at Dog Beach.

Driving Directions

From I-5 North: Take 8 West to Sunset Cliffs. Follow Sunset Cliffs to Voltaire. Turn right on Voltaire, go through West Point Loma Blvd., and park in the parking lot.

From I-5 South: Take Sea World Drive (right) to Sunset Cliffs. Follow Sunset Cliffs to Voltaire. Turn right on Voltaire, go through West Point Loma Blvd., and park in the parking lot.

BYOB--Bring Your Own Reusable Bag, Bucket, Bottle and Gloves

We will have supplies on hand, but volunteers should bring their own work gloves, reusable bag/bucket and/or reusable water bottle.

Beach Cleanup Information

Please wear comfortable clothes, closed toed shoes and sunscreen. All volunteers are welcome to participate and must sign a liability waiver, but volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the beginning of the cleanup to sign a liability waiver before the minor can participate. Please be prepared to fill out a data card of all the trash you pick up—we need this information to help find the sources of trash on our beaches.
