Ocean Gala

We throw a fabulous party.

San Diego Coastkeeper’s Ocean Gala is the region’s largest annual benefit to protect San Diego’s environment and waterways. Since 1995, the event has brought together elected officials, dignitaries, community activists and concerned citizens to raise visibility and funds to support San Diego Coastkeeper’s work to preserve the region’s natural resources. Each year, we recognize community and business leaders, volunteers and outstanding youth throughout the San Diego community with the Coastal Champion Award--an honor for longstanding commitment to environmental stewardship.

Green is our goal, so we make our gala eco-friendly. Guests enjoy organic food, beer and wine from local and sustainable vendors and participate in green-themed live and silent auctions.
