Stephanie Ritter, Development Manager
Stephanie Ritter joined Coastkeeper as the data and development intern while she was an undergraduate. Now she is the development manager where she develops fundraising strategies, coordinates events, keeps an updated database, and communicates with Coastkeeper supporters.
She grew up in San Anselmo which is 20 miles north of San Francisco, and moved down to Southern California for college. She attended University of Redlands and graduated in 2013 with a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies and International Sustainable Development. During her time at University of Redlands, she was very involved in student activities including Students for Environmental Action, Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots, and Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. She attended the School for Field Studies in Costa Rica to study Sustainable Development and to concentrate on environmental field research. She has traveled to many different parts of the world to further her passion for understanding how different cultures address environmental issues.
Stephanie wants to continue and further her commitment to sustainable development and natural resource management. She loves to spend time in the water, and enjoys scuba diving, swimming, and snorkeling. You can also find her playing volleyball or corn hole on the beach in her free time.
